Shed a Tear for Me by Rainydaysmiles Shed a Tear for Me by Rainydaysmiles
I tried to make this look more finished. I feel that with a lot of my work I just upload it when it's "good enough" and not the best I can make it. For this when I got that "god enough" feeling I would leave it for a little while, come back, fix it up some, leave again, repeat until now. I can get into that loop forever, and I have to make a decision at some point to call it "finished."

I know there's still some things that aren't anatomically correct but overall I feel it turned out better than I'd thought when I started it.

i think you did a solid job with the hair - better detail than I've seen in a lot of others. great eye color choice, too. good work!

This came out looking very smooth - I love your painted shading, and you did a good job on that scar. I think the lips and chin may be "pushed out" a little too much, but other then that it looks good.

I thought that too with the lips and chin, and tried to push them in a little more but it looked kind of funny so I decided to just leave it. :p

Thank you!

Yeah that is the other thing too - having to balance trying to get it "just right" with time and efficiency. I eventually decided to compromise on it personally because I'd only upload a work about once a week or two. Even if the work is not as perfect as you wanted to make it you can still recognize mistakes you made and keep them in mind for next time. You're still showing obvious progress regardless, there's a massive skill contrast between your newer and older works.

Exactly!
I feel I don't update as much as I could be, and I'd like to get more art made and up here. I have been doing better on getting my lazy butt to draw more though. :p

Thank you!
